Sukhwinder revealed that his inspiration came from a Mexican Punjabi club he visited during a world tour. The unique blend of Spanish-speaking Punjabis in Mexico stayed with him, shaping the song’s concept.
The video for ‘Nagini’ features a fusion of Mexican and Punjabi aesthetics, shot in a Mexican pub with a rural Punjabi setting. Actors Isha and Mukesh Rishi star in the video, which carries the message ‘No gun, only fun’.
During the event, Sukhwinder performed a few lines from the song, delighting the audience. He credited his mentor for shaping his music journey and discussed the blend of Punjabi folk with modern styles.
Mann emphasized the importance of adapting to current trends and shared how ‘Nagini’ evolved from a simple poem to a full-fledged song. The duo highlighted how entertainment is an essential part of music today.
