Shreya Ghoshal is back on X (formerly Twitter) after her account was hacked in February. The singer finally regained access and shared the news with her 7 million followers on Sunday.
She said it was a tough ride to get her account back. “All is well now,” she wrote, thanking the X team after a long struggle to contact them.
Ghoshal, known for hits like “Teri Ore” and “Deewani Mastani,” said she plans to post more often now. She also warned fans about fake ads using her name and AI-generated pictures.
“These are click baits that lead to spam links,” she said. “Please report such ads. I’ve tried my best, but I can’t remove them.”
She also made a direct appeal to the X team to take down misleading ads. She called out the platform’s ad policies that let scammy promos run.
Last month, she had posted on Instagram warning fans not to trust her hacked profile. She’s now urging extra caution online—and happy to be back.
