Actor Jaaved Jaaferi has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to a cyberattack. On Saturday, he revealed that his X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked.
Jaaferi informed fans through Instagram, posting screenshots that showed he couldn’t access his account. He urged followers to report the issue directly to X.
“So my X account has been hacked. Sincerely request my Twitter friends to complain to X,” he wrote. He even made a playful reference to the song ‘Sadda Haq’ by saying, “Saada Hack… Aetthe Rakh!!”
This isn’t the first case in recent times. Singer Shreya Ghoshal and actor Swara Bhasker also had their X accounts hacked but got them back eventually.
Fans quickly took to social media to show support and started tagging X’s support team. As of now, there’s no official word on when Jaaferi’s account will be restored.
Jaaferi recently appeared in the film ‘Inn Galiyon Mein’ and is gearing up for his next outing in ‘Dhamaal 4’.
