Mumbai’s air pollution is getting worse, thanks to heavy construction and big infrastructure projects. Actor-comedian Vir Das recently raised concerns about the issue on social media.
Vir shared a strong note, criticizing governments for allowing pollution to become a lasting problem. He warned that future generations would suffer, and the issue might only get serious attention when damage is already done.
He called for drastic policy changes, even if they are unpopular at first. He reminded people how they once complained about new airports and bridges but later saw the benefits.
Sonakshi Sinha supported Vir’s message by sharing his note on her Instagram stories. She simply wrote “100 per cent,” agreeing with his stand.
Vir pointed out that pollution affects everyone—kids, elders, rich, or poor. It doesn’t discriminate based on politics, religion, or patriotism.
