Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan made his first public appearance since being stabbed last month. He attended a Netflix event on Monday, looking upbeat and grateful.
The 54-year-old actor was attacked in his Mumbai home during a robbery attempt on January 16. He underwent surgery and was discharged four days later.
At the event, Saif announced his new film, ‘Jewel Thief – The Red Sun Chapter.’ It’s a heist drama directed by Robbie Grewal and co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat.
The film is produced by ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand and his wife, Mamta Anand, under their banner Marflix Pictures. Saif expressed his excitement about the project.
He shared that doing a heist film was always on his wish list. He praised his co-star and the team behind the movie.
Saif has already finished shooting for the film, which will release directly on Netflix. Fans are eager to see him back on screen.
