Saif Ali Khan opened up about the terrifying knife attack at his home. His son, Taimur, stayed by his side when he rushed to the hospital late at night.
The actor revealed that Taimur remained calm and insisted on going with him. Saif felt comforted by his son’s presence and thought if anything happened, he wanted Taimur there.
He described the scene as something out of a movie. He was stabbed multiple times and had to take an autorickshaw to the hospital with a knife partially stuck in his spine.
Saif narrated how the attacker hid in his son Jeh’s room. In a desperate struggle, he wrestled the intruder while Kareena got Jeh to safety. His house help ultimately pulled the attacker away.
Doctors told him the knife came dangerously close to paralyzing him. Taimur and Jeh are now fine, but Taimur is more concerned about security after the incident.
Despite the attack, Saif said he still feels safe in Mumbai. The suspect, a Bangladeshi national, was arrested and taken into judicial custody. Saif remains on the road to recovery, hopeful for a full comeback.
