Ibrahim Ali Khan was recently spotted outside Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Bandra home. Dressed casually in a blue shirt, white trousers, and sneakers, Ibrahim looked calm but kept interactions with the paparazzi minimal, giving them a polite nod before entering the building.
Earlier in the day, Saif and Kareena were also seen stepping out together for the first time since the shocking stabbing incident. The couple, surrounded by heavy security, kept their looks low-key. Saif wore a blue T-shirt and jeans, while Kareena opted for a gray sweatshirt with black baggy trousers and a cap.
On January 16, 2025, Saif faced a horrifying ordeal at his Bandra residence. He was stabbed multiple times during a robbery attempt and underwent two surgeries at Lilavati Hospital. Temporary police protection has been provided to the couple in light of the attack.
However, the aftermath of the incident has stirred a debate about healthcare and insurance. The Association of Medical Consultants Mumbai raised concerns with IRDAI over the swift approval of Saif’s insurance claims. Health insurance expert Nikhil Jha pointed out that the insurer waived the usual requirement of an FIR copy and approved Rs 25 lakh cashless within hours.
The final bill, reportedly Rs 36 lakh, was fully approved. Jha questioned why such preferential treatment was given to Saif Ali Khan while ordinary citizens face stringent scrutiny. He claimed that standard “reasonable and customary charges” would have been applied for a regular person in similar circumstances.
Meanwhile, Mumbai police have made a breakthrough in the case, detaining suspect Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir. Investigations are ongoing, but the controversy surrounding Saif’s insurance settlement shows no signs of cooling down.
