Rizwann Sikander Shines As Lovable Gullu Pandey

Rizwann Sikander is winning hearts with his new film Sarkari Baccha. He plays Gullu Pandey, a charming, flawed guy who’s madly in love and proud of his government job. Rizwann says the character’s honesty pulled him in from the start.

With barely any prep, Rizwann threw himself into the role. After just one day of shooting, he used a two-day break to soak up local dialects and mannerisms to make Gullu feel real. And it worked—audiences have been telling him he’s “shining” onscreen.

Working on Sarkari Baccha was extra special because Rizwann got to spend time with the late Jr. Mehmood. One night, Jr. Mehmood even said Rizwann reminded him of legendary actor Mehmood Sahib, a compliment Rizwann will never forget.

As someone who’s been a model, reality TV star, and now actor-producer, Rizwann knows the highs and lows of the industry. He says being a producer feels like “walking into a dark cave,” where you never know what’s coming next.

Fitness, spirituality, and reflection are what keep Rizwann grounded. Whether it’s Fear Factor stunts or rooftop jumps for a shoot, he believes the real battle is won by the “hunger inside and the light within.”

With two upcoming films and a series on the way, Rizwann is just getting started. His advice to young actors? “Face your fears, embrace your flaws, and never give up.”
