Prakash Raj Slams Pawan Kalyan Over Hindi Remarks

Actor-politician Prakash Raj took a dig at Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan over his views on Hindi. On Saturday, Raj shared his thoughts on X, criticizing Kalyan for allegedly pushing the language on others. He insisted that protecting regional languages is about self-respect, not hatred toward Hindi.

The controversy began during the 12th foundation day of the Jana Sena Party. Kalyan questioned Tamil Nadu politicians for rejecting Hindi while benefiting financially from Bollywood. He accused them of hypocrisy, pointing out how they allow dubbed Hindi movies despite opposing the language.

Kalyan’s remarks came amid Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s stand against the central government’s alleged push for Hindi. Stalin refused to implement the three-language formula from the National Education Policy as a form of protest.

Prakash Raj, known for his outspoken nature, took a firm stance. He urged Kalyan to understand the importance of cultural identity. He claimed that forcing a language on others is not the right approach.

This isn’t the first time Raj has engaged in political debates. He has frequently voiced concerns over language imposition and cultural preservation.

The debate over Hindi’s role in South India is ongoing. With strong voices on both sides, the issue continues to stir political and public discussions.
