Nancy Tyagi, a self-taught fashion designer from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, has hit the Cannes red carpet for the second year in a row. She wowed again with a gown she designed and made entirely by herself.
In 2024, Tyagi stunned with her Cannes debut. Now in 2025, she’s back, this time in a turquoise dress that took over 700 hours to create.
The outfit was inspired by blooming gardens. It featured hand-painted flowers, a structured bodice, and a flowing floral design.
Tyagi said flowers were her main inspiration and thanked everyone who supported her journey. “My life changed completely since last year,” she shared.
Interestingly, Tyagi once studied for the civil services in Delhi. She later found fame online making clothes from scratch and now has over 3 million Instagram followers.
In her 2024 debut, she made four outfits over two months, including a dreamy pink gown. This year’s look shows she’s still setting trends her own way.
From Baghpat to Cannes, Tyagi is proof that talent and hard work never go out of style.
