Lady Gaga’s latest album, ‘Mayhem,’ has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album earned 219,000 units in its opening week, making it the biggest debut for a female artist this year.
The album features hit dance tracks, including the highest-charting single, ‘Abracadabra.’ Gaga premiered the song during a Grammys commercial break in February.
This marks Gaga’s seventh No. 1 album, following hits like ‘Chromatica,’ ‘A Star Is Born’ soundtrack, and ‘Born This Way.’ She continues her streak of dominating the music charts.
Meanwhile, Blackpink’s Jennie made her solo debut with ‘Ruby’ at No. 7. The album earned 56,000 units, with nearly 40 million streams and 26,500 sales.
‘Ruby’ is a mix of pop and R&B and features artists like Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. It’s the third solo album by a Blackpink member to reach the top 10.
