Jasleen Royal Joins Chris Martin at Coldplay’s Mumbai Concert

Singer Jasleen Royal added magic to Coldplay’s concert at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. She kicked off the show with a touching performance of her hit song Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, stealing the spotlight. Later, she teamed up with Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a duet of We Pray from the band’s latest album, Moon Music.

Jasleen shared glimpses of the night on Instagram, showing clips of her rehearsals and performance. She dazzled fans in a black shimmery outfit, piano in tow, as the crowd cheered her on. “Thank you Mumbai, I love you,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for the love and support.

The evening had its fair share of surprises, with Chris Martin adding an Indian twist to the concert. From reading audience placards to shouting “Jai Shri Ram” mid-show, Martin kept the crowd entertained. He even gave a playful shoutout to Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, joking about wrapping up the show so Bumrah could bowl backstage.

The concert, organized by BookMyShow Live, treated fans to Coldplay classics like Fix You and A Sky Full of Stars. The sound, lights, and energy made it an unforgettable experience for the audience.

Before the concert, Chris Martin and his partner, actor Dakota Johnson, visited Mumbai’s Shri Babulnath Temple in traditional Indian wear. The couple’s temple visit added a spiritual touch to their India trip.

Coldplay’s India tour is far from over, with two more dates in Mumbai on January 19 and 21. The band will then move on to Ahmedabad for shows on January 25 and 26. Fans are in for a rollercoaster of emotions and music!
