Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is making his Bollywood debut with ‘Nadaaniyan’. The film premieres on Netflix on March 7, as announced by the streamer.
Also starring Khushi Kapoor, the romantic drama is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, a digital branch of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The announcement was made via a social media post by Netflix India.
Directed by Shauna Gautam, ‘Nadaaniyan’ follows a South Delhi diva and a middle-class achiever who get into a fake relationship. But things take a turn when real feelings come into play.
Ibrahim plays Arjun Mehta, while Khushi Kapoor stars as Pia Jai Singh. The cast also features Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.
Karan Johar is producing the film along with Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. This marks Ibrahim’s big launch after working as an assistant on Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.
Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, earlier debuted with ‘The Archies’. She was last seen in ‘Loveyapa’ opposite Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan.
Fans are excited to see the fresh pairing of Ibrahim and Khushi, making ‘Nadaaniyan’ one of the most anticipated films of the season.
