Bollywood star Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are reportedly on the brink of divorce after 37 years of marriage. Though no official statement has been made, reports suggest they have been living separately for a while now.
Sources claim their differing lifestyle choices have caused a growing distance between them. Speculation also hints at Govinda’s alleged link with a Marathi actress playing a role in their rift.
Sunita, in a recent interview, admitted that they are staying in separate homes. She lives in their apartment with their children, while Govinda spends most of his time at their bungalow.
She shared that Govinda enjoys social gatherings and late-night meetings, preferring to stay alone. Despite this setup, she did not directly confirm their marital troubles.
On a lighter note, Sunita joked that in her next life, she doesn’t want Govinda as her husband. She expressed disappointment over his busy schedule, saying they hardly spend time together.
The couple wed secretly in 1987 and revealed their marriage only after their daughter Tina’s birth in 1988. They also have a son, Yashvardhan, born in 1997.
