Emraan Hashmi is back on the big screen with ‘Ground Zero’, a war thriller based on real-life events. The teaser just dropped, and it’s already grabbing attention online.
Set in Kashmir, the film tells the story of bravery, sacrifice, and a dangerous mission. Hashmi plays BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, who led a risky operation after a deadly attack.
The teaser opens with a threat from a terror group, followed by a brutal scene that shows the loss of 70 Indian soldiers. The mood is intense right from the start.
Hashmi’s character appears as a calm yet determined officer, set to chase down the enemies. His closing line in the teaser raises a strong emotional question about belonging and identity in Kashmir.
Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film hits theaters on April 25. The makers are promising a gripping, edge-of-the-seat ride.
The actor isn’t stopping here. Emraan is also lined up for ‘Awarapan 2’, adding more firepower to his comeback year with back-to-back action thrillers.
