Ed Sheeran just gave his fans a big surprise! The British singer shared a video of himself playing the Indian classical instrument, the sitar.
Currently touring India, the 33-year-old posted the clip on Instagram. The video shows him learning the sitar from expert Megha Rawoot.
Together, they played Sheeran’s hit song “Shape of You.” Fans were amazed to see the pop star blend his style with an Indian classical touch.
Sheeran seemed thrilled about the experience. “Played sitar today for the first time, had a great teacher @megharawoot,” he wrote.
The singer is on the Indian leg of his Mathematics Tour. He has already performed in Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Next up, Sheeran will perform in Bengaluru, Shillong, and wrap things up in Delhi-NCR on February 15. Fans can’t wait to see what he does next!
