At a recent press event for Anupam Kher’s upcoming film ‘Tanvi The Great’, the actor and attendees paused to honor the victims of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack. Kher led a moment of silence before starting the conference.
“Before we continue, let’s observe a minute of silence,” Kher said solemnly. The emotional tribute set a respectful tone for the rest of the event.
‘Tanvi The Great’ breaks tradition by giving credit to its backstage heroes first. Technicians and the creative team were introduced before the film’s star was revealed.
Kher finally introduced the film’s mysterious lead, Shubhangi—an acting student from his school, Actor Prepares. Her identity was kept secret until now.
Actor Kajol, present at the event, took part in the reveal. Shubhangi shared her excitement saying, “Amazing, excited and you (Kajol) are standing next to me.”
The teaser for ‘Meet Tanvi’ was also shown, revealing a glimpse of Shubhangi in her debut role. The movie is set to make its world premiere at Cannes’ Marche du Film.
