Amit Sadh Gears Up for Gripping Comeback with 'Pune Highway'

Amit Sadh didn’t step into acting by accident—it started as a challenge. But that bold spirit pushed him into TV, reality shows, movies, and OTT, building a solid two-decade career.

Now, he’s back on screen with a fresh twist—a murder mystery called ‘Pune Highway’. This new film mixes suspense with friendship, and Amit plays Khandu, a simple, good-hearted guy with big dreams.

Directed by theatre maestro Rahul DaCunha and Bugs Bhargava Krishna, the film never felt like it had two captains, says Amit. Everything clicked from day one.

Joining Amit are heavyweights from the stage world like Jim Sarbh and Rajit Kapoor. Though Amit hasn’t acted much in theatre, he’s a big fan of live plays.

He calls the film’s storyline intense and meaningful. “Friendship under pressure is something everyone can relate to,” he shares. This role has challenged him in new ways.

Outside the big screen, his life is balanced with books, travel, and his love for motorcycles. In fact, his docu-film ‘Motorcycles Saved My Life’ dropped this year. And from the looks of it, Pune Highway might just be another exciting turn in his long ride.
