Adnan Sami Slams Pakistani Army, Says 'I Knew This Long Ago!'

Adnan Sami is back in the spotlight, and this time, his target is the Pakistani Army. The singer recently shared a bold post on X (formerly Twitter), revealing why he left Pakistan for good.

While walking in Baku, Azerbaijan, Sami met some Pakistani youngsters. They told him he was lucky to leave Pakistan early, and said they were unhappy with their own army.

“We hate our army, they ruined our country,” they told him. Sami simply replied, “I knew this long ago!”

Adnan, born in the UK to a Pakistani father and Indian mother, shifted to India in 2001. He became an Indian citizen in 2016 and has been critical of Pakistan’s system ever since.

His latest comments also follow the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people were killed. Sami called the attack “a horrific crime against humanity.”

The clash didn’t stop there. After ex-Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhry took a jab at Sami online, the singer fired back, calling him a “dumba**” and criticizing his ignorance.

From music to politics, Sami has never pulled punches. His recent words left no doubt—he’s not turning back anytime soon.
