Emraan Hashmi is all smiles as his film ‘Ground Zero’ becomes the first movie in 38 years to have a red carpet premiere in Srinagar. This marks a huge moment for both Bollywood and the beautiful city of Jammu and Kashmir.
The actor arrived in Srinagar with director Tejas Deoskar ahead of the big screening. He told reporters that shooting here for 30 days was an incredible experience and praised the local weather and people.
Hashmi said the premiere is not just about the film but also a symbolic event for the region. According to him, the people in Kashmir are talented and just need platforms like film and TV to explore their creativity.
‘Ground Zero’ tells the gripping story of a brave BSF officer hunting the mastermind behind the 2001 attacks on the Indian Parliament and Akshardham Temple. The film is directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Excel Entertainment, led by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
Emraan also shared his excitement on social media, calling it a “landmark day” for cinema in Srinagar and a tribute to BSF soldiers. The screening is dedicated to the bravery of the security forces.
