Hrithik Roshan is ready to step into a new role—director. The superstar will make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, the next big chapter in his hit superhero series.
The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films along with Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft. Shooting is expected to begin early next year.
Hrithik, who played the lead in all three previous Krrish movies, is now also leading behind the camera. His father, Rakesh Roshan, who directed the earlier films, says it’s time to pass the baton.
Rakesh praised Hrithik’s vision for the franchise and said he’s confident his son will take the story to new heights. The Roshans are teaming up with YRF head Aditya Chopra, who reportedly convinced Hrithik to direct.
Krrish started in 2003 with Koi… Mil Gaya and quickly became India’s first superhero universe. The follow-ups in 2006 and 2013 were big hits.
Fans can expect a bigger, bolder superhero adventure this time. With Hrithik directing and YRF producing, Krrish 4 could be India’s next global blockbuster.
