Diljit Dosanjh Dedicates Concert to Late PM Manmohan Singh, Shares Life Lessons

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh paid a heartfelt tribute to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. During his Sunday concert, part of the ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’, the singer dedicated the event to Singh, who passed away on December 26 at the age of 92.

Sharing a video of the moment on Instagram, Dosanjh reflected on Singh’s wisdom and demeanor. “Dr Manmohan Singh ji lived a very simple life. Even when others spoke ill of him, he never responded in the same way,” said the artist.

In the video, Diljit praised Singh’s calmness amidst chaos, pointing out how he handled Lok Sabha debates with dignity. Comparing some politicians to “nursery kids,” he urged people to learn the art of silence and composure from the late leader.

Dosanjh also quoted Singh’s powerful words: “My silence is better than a thousand answers, it has saved the grace of many questions.” He said these words are a lesson for the youth, including himself, to stay focused and not get distracted by negativity.

The singer, known for blending entertainment with social messages, expressed gratitude for Singh’s contributions to India. “Today, I bow my head in front of a man who loved his country and dedicated his life to serving it,” Diljit added.

Fans lauded the gesture, calling it a fitting tribute to the architect of India’s economic reforms. Diljit will perform next in Ludhiana on December 31, marking the year-end with his popular tour.
